Happy to announce that Button Poetry has agreed to publish an anthology of poems all “powered by Metaphor Dice,” which is tentatively titled “Poetry by Chance.” If you’ve ever written a poem you like which explores a metaphor you came up with while rolling the dice, please submit it to The Golden Die for consideration. There is a small reading fee per poem, but it is also a contest so there is a chance—if your poem is the winner—that you will receive $1,000. The student winner receives $500 and 25 sets of Metaphor Dice for their teacher! You do not need to own a set of dice to enter, but the metaphor must be based on words from the actual dice.
The deadline for submitting your poem(s) to the project is midnight Eastern Time on April 30, 2022.
